Triumph of Civilization examines the concepts of democracy and nonviolence in the light of our global twenty-first century crises and develops a deeper understanding of democracy as inherently nonviolent and fundamentally holistic. Our current world is analyzed in terms of its degree of democracy and levels of violence, showing that today’s civilization is both profoundly undemocratic and intrinsically violent. The book reveals the way out of our current crises through establishing a non-military Earth Federation that actualizes the three most fundamental features of authentic democracy: positive freedom, reasonable economic equality, and a global community of unity in diversity.
